About Me

Janet McLeod

Janet McLeod is an alumna of Smith College, Harvard University and the University of Michigan, from which she holds a master’s degree in education. She has guidance qualifications from the University of Toronto and a certificate in management from the University of California – San Diego.

She has taught English in Michigan, Barbados, and Quebec, and in 1975 added guidance counseling at Branksome Hall (Toronto) and later the Toronto French School. With the founding of McLeod Consulting Services in 1996, Janet and her colleagues have advised students seeking university and college admissions in the U.S., Canada and internationally.

With the development of a great online resource www.collegetrackr.com, Janet writes articles available at no charge to students and families.  She also gives free presentations, on request, for secondary schools and athletic teams in Canada and internationally, in person and on line.
